5 Best Exercises for Fat loss

Do you have stomach fat that you just can’t get off? Well, it may not be entirely your fault. Visible stomach fat is also known as Visceral Fat, and while it may be the most harmful it is definitely the hardest to get rid of. So what should you do? So many crunches that you throw up the taco bell you had for lunch? (Hey it’s gotta get out somehow right?)

While crunches are a very good exercise, they are completely pointless for fat loss, crunches do not put enough stress on the entire body to stimulate fat burning. While yes, you may burn a few calories, you’re only going to build muscle with crunches. The movement will build muscle on your abs but it is pretty much pointless with fat covering them up.

Below you will find the 5 best exercises for fat loss!

Burpees

Burpees are so underrated when it comes to most beginner fitness enthusiasts. Being a compound movement, burpees are extremely beneficial not only for fat loss but for the entire body as well. The beautiful thing about burpees is the fact that you don’t have to spend 1-2 hours in the gym doing them! In fact, if you can find a great 10-minute burpee workout then you are well on your way to fat loss.

Do not worry though, I won’t make you find one on your own, you can find a link to an absolutely amazing 10-minute burpee workout on YouTube when you click here

Sprints

I know you probably hate running, but trust me when I say it is extremely good for you! Most people think that when they want to lose fat, they have to spend an hour jogging when that is really not the case. The beauty of sprints and interval training is the fact that it is extremely intense but extremely short, and in being so intense it burns off fat really quickly.

However, if you are a beginner who is starting from a weight that limits your movement, sprints are not recommended until you get a bit more fit. If you want to lose fat, I would recommend “Liss Cardio” this is basically brisk walking for 45+ minutes, and because it is low intensity your body doesn’t use glycogen stores and instead uses its fat stores.

Mountain Climbers

Not only is this really good cardio but they are also excellent for your shoulders and core. Mountain climbers have been a part of American fitness for years and it’s understandable why. Mountain climbers are an extremely good exercise for those who are looking to tone up a bit and lose some fat.

The best part about this exercise is the fact that basically anyone can do them making it seem a lot less daunting to our fitness beginners. These are usually paired well in an interval workout along with other exercises like the burpees but, if you want to start with these alone, then more power to you!

Jumping Squats

This exercise is absolutely killer if you are looking to increase your jumping height as well as lose fat. This exercise when done in intervals can build muscle in your Quads and Glutes while also burning fat. There are many variations of this exercise that can make it harder such as the jumping knee tuck, but this variation is great for beginners looking to get a quick sweat in!

Jumping Lunges

Finishing off our list is the jumping lunge, when done right this exercise makes everything burn (in a good way). This exercise is absolutely great for your quads, glutes, and hip stability. Trust me when I say you’re going to find yourself getting tired very quickly, but being such an intense exercise, as with the other exercises on this list, you only have to do it for a short time.

There you have it! Your 5 best fat burning exercises! You can do these exercises individually but it would be best if you paired them all together into some type of interval routine to get the ultimate fat burning workout for yourself!
